DescriptionThe Technical Sales Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the residential sales engineering team in North America and addition to managing the team of territory-based sales engineers this role will support and meet with high-value customers to engage in technical product discussions in driving sales. The individual should have excellent track record of revenue performance building teams managing KPIs and presentation skills.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage a team of residentially focused sales engineers to drive product adoption through technical product demonstrations that support our sales organization.
- Support strategic brands in the residential space to ensure project success while acting as the technology subject matter expert and providing guidance to Category Strategy on potential new brands/solutions.
- Prepare weekly/monthlysalesreportsincludingperformanceagainstKPIs along with SFDC documentation using tools like SFDC and BI. Consistently and accurately reporting metrics and tracking in sales management tools.
- Travel in field with reps create development and coaching plans and look for ways to improve overall technical discipline across the org
- Lead industry event setup and meet with customers to discuss product solutions and provide training for customers.
- Exceed sales targets present/report out on metrics and identify new opportunities to hit targets including specific gap closure plans.
- Facilitate system designs with the internal design team and professional services teams.
- DevelopstrongworkingrelationshipswithADISalesLeaders across multiple disciplines
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 7 plus years experience in the residential Audio Visual industry (CEDIA)
- Problem-solver with strong client/executive relationship management abilities
- Willing to travel 25% of the time
- Proven ability to support large scale projects
