DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in theassembly and alignment of optical experiments including lasers lenses detectors interferometers and fiber-optic components.
- Conductdata collection analysis and modeling using tools such as Python MATLAB LabView or similar platforms.
- Supportcharacterization of photonic devices such as waveguides modulators sensors or nonlinear optical systems.
- Performlaboratory testing calibration and documentation following established safety and procedural standards.
- Preparetechnical reports presentations and summaries of experimental findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in physics electrical engineering and materials science.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physics Applied Physics Electrical Engineering Photonics or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of optics and electromagnetism (e.g. interference diffraction waveguides polarization).
- Hands-on experience withlab equipment such as optical tables lenses mirrors alignment tools photodiodes oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers.
- Basic proficiency withdata analysis and scripting (Python MATLAB or similar).
- Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
