What Youll Do
- Quality Strategy & Testing: Collaborate early with product and engineering teams to define requirements acceptance criteria and testing strategy combining exploratory testing AI-driven insights and risk-based prioritization to prevent defects early.
- Automation & Framework Development: Design build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using MABL Playwright/Cypress/Selenium including Python-based test suites complex selectors and integrations with AWS via APIs and WebSockets.
- CI/CD & Mentorship: Embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitHub Actions) maintain pipeline-as-code and mentor junior engineers while defining organization-wide best practices and the Testing Pyramid.
Key Qualification Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience as an QA Automation Engineer in automating testcases and building framework using:
- MABL
- Cypress/Selenium
- Python/Playwright
- Experience withMablor similar low-code/no-code test automation platforms (e.g. Testim TestProject Katalon etc.)
- Strong proficiency inJavaScript and Typescript / Pythonfor test automation and scripting.
- Experience withCI/CD toolssuch asJenkinsandGitHub Actions.
- Exposure to testingmicroservicesAPIs or distributed systems.
- Expertise in writingrobust XPathfor UI element identification.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and STLC with hands-on experience in functional regression smoke sanity and integration testing.
- Experience with manual and automation testing using tools like Jira TestRail or similar test management systems.
- Hands-on experience withGitand version control best practices.
- Familiarity withvideo technologies including:
- ffmpegmediainfoffprobe
- Video formats streaming protocols codecs and ancillary data.
- Knowledge ofcloud platformssuch as AWS Azure or GCP.
- ISTQB certification (Nice to have)
