About the Role
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead a high-volume high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit at a premier regional referral center. This facility serves as a hub for high-risk pregnancies and newborn care offering the regions only Level I Trauma Center and Childrens Hospital. You will play a critical role in fostering a patient-centered culture that emphasizes safety excellence and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities
Operations: Plan organize and direct all unit functions to ensure effective 24/7 operation.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement policies procedures and quality improvement initiatives.
Staffing & Development: Manage staffing levels mentor team members and promote professional growth and clinical excellence.
Patient Advocacy: Ensure the safest and most compassionate care for patients in the high-risk pregnancy program.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in Labor and Delivery
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in an L&D setting
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters Degree preferred
Current Georgia RN License or recognized compact/multi-state licensure
Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
