Relu: improving dentistry with AI
Were a Leuven-based AI scale-up transforming the dental industry with automated design services. Todays dental labs face a huge challenge: a shortage of skilled technicians and skyrocketing demand for dental care.
Our mission is to automate the repetitive and time-consuming parts of dental CAD design - so labs can work more efficiently dentists can deliver care faster and patients get the treatment they need without unnecessary costs or delays.
Our platform is already used by thousands of dental professionals worldwide and is growing rapidly.
What youll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Relu youll help build the core platform that powers AI-driven dental automation:

What youll do
As a Frontend Engineer at Relu youll help build the core platform that powers AI-driven dental automation:
- Build and scale our web platform used by thousands of users globally and ensuring that it can handle the growing amount of users & orders.
- Digitize and automate the end-to-end workflow of a dental labfrom order intake through digital design of dental appliances to manufacturing (e.g. 3D printing) and delivery.
- Think from the users perspective to turn complex workflows into intuitive experiences. Design & implement slick user interfaces with a focus on user-friendliness and efficiency
- Build clean re-usable and testable software components.
- Collaborate with:
- AI engineers to develop and release the latest & greatest features
- Sales & support teams to ship what customers need
- Dedicated designers for more complex UI
- Take full ownership over features and projects from ideation to release.
Your profile
- 2 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on modern frontend technologies (React Vue)
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience in building complex layouts with CSS
- A quality mindset with the ability to ship well-tested & extensible code
- Strong UX and design sensibilities
- Experience in building complex web applications
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team-player who can work autonomously
- Excellent English
- Frontend: TypeScript
- Backend: Python (FastAPI) Kubernetes Docker Terraform
- This is a hybrid role based in Belgium with regular in-person presence expected at our Leuven HQ.
