Duration: 18 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift MondayFriday 58-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week (All orientation hours are billable)
Pay Rate: $48$58/hour
Estimated Weekly Pay: $1800 $2175

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a qualified and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across two school sites in Thornton Colorado. This role is primarily based in an elementary school setting with limited indirect services provided at a nearby high school. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and an opportunity to positively impact students academic performance functional skills and overall development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals
Support approximately 40 elementary students (Pre-K5th grade) through primarily direct services
Deliver indirect OT services to approximately 10 high school students
Conduct evaluations assessments and ongoing progress monitoring
Develop implement and adjust individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers special education teams administrators and families
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate timely documentation in compliance with school district and state guidelines

Qualifications

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
School Special Services Provider (SSP) license from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
- Must be active and in hand at time of submission
Prior school-based OT experience preferred
Pediatric experience required
Strong communication organization and time-management skills
