Our Behavior Technicians go through an extensive initial training program (making $18.50 - $19.50/hour) and earn $20.50 - $21.50/hour once training is complete.

- Experience with kids of all abilities
- Ability to work independently receive constructive feedback and adapt to changing environments

- 18 years old - Required
- High school diploma or equivalent - Required
- Valid drivers license with a reliable insured and registered vehicle - Required
- CPR certification or ability to obtain one - Required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform quick body movements
AVERAGE DAY
As a Behavior Technician youll lead 1:1 ABA therapy sessions to teach children with autism (ages 1 to 12) life skills. Youll work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) following personalized therapy paths to help each client achieve their goals. Heres a closer look:
- Implement ABA therapy and Precision Teaching practices to help clients gain new skills and reduce behaviors
- Accurately record all session data and make detailed notes about the clients progress
- Communicate with parents caregivers and other stakeholders
- Maintain learning materials and keep the therapy environment clean and organized
- Engage in crisis intervention and prevention as needed
- Follow industry policies laws and code of ethics
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor and appearance
