We are looking for SDEs with strong technical knowledge established background in engineering large scale software systems and passion for solving challenging problems. The role demands a high-performing and flexible candidate who can take responsibility for success of the system and drive solutions from design to coding testing and deployment to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
The SDE on this team will be playing a key role in defining charter/scope executing and delivering innovative solutions to build the eCommerce universe. Candidate needs to have a high sense of ownership ability to take on ambiguous and ambitious goals and lead a highly talented team to achieve results. This role would expose you to solving problems at scale in areas of LLM-based metadata extraction and classification predictability at scale with priority-based orchestration and building intelligent systems that use Agentic capabilities across eCommerce landscape.
Key job responsibilities
1. Design and build scalable enrichment platforms that leverage LLMs and process millions of websites daily.
2. Architect and implement multi-account horizontally scalable infrastructure using AWS to achieve fault isolation independent scaling and priority-based request processing across distributed systems.
3. Build platform capabilities for prioritization and request management enabling lane-based traffic routing with predictable SLA enforcement.
4. Lead and mentor junior engineers drive best practices around system design coding standards testability operational excellence and security for GenAI-integrated systems.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
