Job Summary
Why this role
We are looking for a Finance leader to drive financial operations in Malaysia ensuring accurate reporting compliance and strategic support for business growth.
What will you be doing
Lead financial operations including accounts payable month-end closing reporting taxation and treasury.
Ensure correctness of managerial information such as order books WIP financing and key financial metrics.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements (SST corporation tax statutory accounts).
Drive on-time month-end quarterly and yearly financial reporting.
Maintain strong internal controls and oversee treasury functions including exchange rate hedging.
Support expense reimbursements payroll accounting and provide professional financial advice to business unit leaders.
Are you the one
You have strong experience in financial reporting finance operations accounting and taxation preferably in medium to large multinational corporations.
You are hands-on detail-oriented and able to interact confidently with business leaders.
You possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Professional qualifications (CPA ACCA or equivalent) are required.
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Minimum 8 years including 2-3 years in auditing and 4-5 years in financial controller roles.
