As the Service Director you will lead our three-room kindergarten service providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children and families in the community. This role focuses on strong leadership effective service operations and creating a positive supportive environment where educators and children can thrive.
Working in a supernumerary capacity you will provide visible hands-on leadership across the service overseeing daily operations and administration supporting and mentoring educators and building strong trusting partnerships with families. You will also play a key role in fostering meaningful connections with the broader community including our co-located Maternal and Child Health service and the City of Casey Community Centre to support continuity of care and positive outcomes for children and families. While primarily off-ratio you will step into ratio when required to support children educators and the smooth running of the service.
As the Nominated Supervisor you will be responsible for the overall operation of the service ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and leading a culture of quality safety and continuous improvement. You will work closely with leadership peers and central support teams to support reflective practice workforce development and a welcoming inclusive kindergarten environment.

Youre a reflective and passionate teacher who knows the power of relationships in childrens learning. You hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) current VIT registration and bring a collaborative spirit and a commitment to equity inclusion and quality.
