Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Financial Aide to support the administration of student financial aid programs for healthcare-focused academic programs including Nursing and Medical Imaging. This role works closely with the Financial Aid leadership team to ensure accurate processing regulatory compliance and high-quality service to students and staff.
The ideal candidate will serve as a key point of contact for financial aid inquiries and will coordinate with multiple internal departments to support efficient financial aid operations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the planning implementation and evaluation of student financial aid programs
Serve as a resource for students regarding financial aid policies eligibility and application processes
Prepare process and maintain FAFSA NJ Grants and/or STARS applications
Process student loans and reconcile financial aid packages
Maintain accurate scholarship awards student records and financial aid files
Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ensure compliance with Education Department regulations and financial aid guidelines
Coordinate with admissions registration fiscal departments and academic schools
Collaborate with professional staff and administration to ensure timely information flow
Communicate professionally with students families visitors and internal stakeholders
Support student services activities including orientation graduation and special events
Attend administrative meetings as required
Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
Basic experience with PeopleSoft (PS)
Strong data entry documentation and record management skills
Working knowledge of financial aid processes and Education Department regulations
Experience filing FAFSA NJ Grants and/or STARS applications
Experience processing student loans and reconciling financial aid packages
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational communication and administrative abilities
Ability to work fully onsite and accommodate occasional late evenings
