About the Opportunity
A growing healthcare provider in the acute-care and community nursing sector delivering patient-centered clinical services across Kerala. We operate high-volume inpatient and outpatient units focused on quality safety and compassionate care.
Primary Title: Staff Nurse (BSc/GNM) On-site role based in Vatakara Kerala India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on nursing care for medical and surgical patients: administer medications set up and manage IV therapy and perform wound dressing per clinical protocols.
- Continuously monitor and record patient vital signs identify physiological deterioration early and escalate to physicians following escalation protocols.
- Assist with procedures and specimen collection perform catheterisation and support diagnostic tests while maintaining aseptic technique.
- Execute infection prevention and control measures maintain sterile fields and ensure safe handling and disposal of clinical waste.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient charts and electronic medical records; complete shift handovers and nursing notes with clarity.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams participate in daily rounds and contribute to clinical audits and quality-improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- BSc Nursing or GNM qualification from a recognized institution.
- Valid state nursing registration in India.
- Proven clinical competency in IV cannulation medication administration and wound care.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent emergency-response training.
- Hands-on experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced hospital environment and follow standard operating procedures.
Preferred
- Previous experience in medical-surgical or critical care units.
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS ICU nursing or specialty nursing courses.
- Experience with quality improvement projects infection-control audits or mentorship roles.
