Join our team as a senior technical consultant working 100% dedicated to providing advanced OT cybersecurity expertise for our clients in the pharmaceutical and industrial automation sectors. This role involves identifying security gaps supporting architecture improvements and executing complex cybersecurity tasks with frequent onsite presence in Sant Cugat Spain.
As an OT Cybersecurity Expert you will deliver proactive guidance and technical consultancy on all aspects of OT cybersecurity. You will work closely with internal teams and field stakeholders in manufacturing engineering and automation leading security incident handling vulnerability management and architecture support. The role requires independence strong analytical skills and excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Fine-tune NIDS and maintain regular contact with automation teams.
- Deliver expert technical consultancy on OT cybersecurity topics.
- Advise proactively on organizational and technological OT cybersecurity aspects.
- Identify and address potential security gaps supporting remediation efforts.
- Independently manage and complete complex assignments.
- Proactively follow up on open tasks and escalate issues when needed.
- Lead security incident handling and vulnerability management in OT environments.
- Support definition and improvement of OT cybersecurity architectures.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders in manufacturing engineering and automation.
- Participate regularly in onsite team meetings in Sant Cugat Spain (12 weeks onsite as needed).
Requirements
- Proven experience in OT cybersecurity ideally in pharmaceutical manufacturing or industrial automation.
- Deep technical knowledge of OT cybersecurity principles frameworks and technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for gap analysis and remediation.
- Advanced skills in security incident response and vulnerability management.
- Ability to independently manage complex cybersecurity projects and tasks.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Prior involvement in OT cybersecurity architecture definition or improvement.
- Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive task management and follow-up approach.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g. Spanish) are a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Sant Cugat Spain.
- Experience working in international or multi-site teams.
