Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately
Diagnose maintain and repair automotive systems including:
Engine transmission and drive line
Electrical and steering systems
Suspension and brakes
Air conditioning and heating systems
Test-drive vehicles and operate diagnostic equipment to identify issues
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to explain findings and additional needed repairs
Provide accurate time estimates for service completion
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Deliver quality work that ensures customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
1 years of automotive Service Technician experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
Ford certification preferred (but not required)
Prior Ford dealership experience a plus
B-level qualifications in diagnostics electrical and engine repair
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment and basic computer systems
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Positive friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Team player with eagerness to learn new technology and procedures
