THE ROLE: Heavy Equipment Mechanic: Responsible for maintaining and repairing our varied fleet which includes everything from diesel engines to small tools. Low-Boy Driver: Tasked with the safe transportation and delivery of heavy machinery throughout Sitka. Rental Counter: Provide assistance to customers with equipment rentals and offer expert recommendations. QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Technician. A valid Class A CDL with an impeccable driving record. Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude. Residing in (or willing to move to) Sitka AK. COMPENSATION: $35.00 $45.00 per hour depending on experience. Full-time local employment with the assurance of a community-oriented branch.

Experience Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role within a dealership or industrial setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Familiarity with operating forklifts and understanding of industrial equipment functionality. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems and heavy machinery components. Experience working with tractor-trailer systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing mechanical issues. Prefer ASE Certification in Diesel Engine and Heavy Equipment
