Job Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile self-starting Administrative Assistant to manage the "full scope" of our office operations near Conroe. This isnt just a data-entry role; you will be the engine that keeps our projects moving. While we offer flexible scheduling we require a professional who is results-oriented and can ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workforce & Compliance: Manage manpower loading schedules and ensure all personnel meet site requirements through the Safety Council.
  • Health & Safety: Coordinate and track employee drug testing and safety certifications to maintain full compliance.
  • Estimating Support: Prepare and compile professional quotes based on technical information and data provided by the field team.
  • Procurement: Source and order tools and materials through both our internal purchasing department and local vendors to ensure no project delays.
  • Logistics & Maintenance: Schedule and oversee the upkeep of equipment vehicles and office facilities.
  • General Operations: Handle the day-to-day administrative needs that arise in a fast-paced industrial or construction-based environment.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in an industrial construction or trades-based office environment is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and the ability to learn internal purchasing software.
  • Organizational Mastery: You must be able to juggle manpower charts safety deadlines and material orders simultaneously.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with field crews corporate purchasing and local suppliers.
  • Reliability: Since the hours are flexible you must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines independently.
