Job Summary
Job Objective/Summary: The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for supervising therapeutic nursing care in our long term care facility. The ADON serves as a role model in clinical skills and leadership. The ADON promotes good public relations for the nursing division and Lawrence Hall Health and Rehabilitation. The ADON supervises and administers direct resident care with necessary. Responsible for the workload and productivity of all RNs LPNs and NA In Training. Assist DON with essential functions as needed.
Job Education Licenses/Certifications Knowledge & Experience:Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an RN in the state of Arkansas.Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. BSN preferred. Must have 1 year of recent clinical leadership experience. Strong knowledge of nursing principals practices and procedures. Compassionate patient-centered approach.
