Location: Neptune New Jersey
Shift: Night Shift
Schedule: 36 hours per week 3 12-hour shifts
Pay Rate: $60 $62 per hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery to provide high-quality patient-centered care to women and newborns throughout the childbirth continuum. This role involves close collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe evidence-based care while promoting positive maternal and neonatal outcomes.

Responsibilities

Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for assigned patients
Perform ongoing patient assessments based on medical diagnosis patient needs and functional health frameworks
Provide therapeutic nursing care for antepartum intrapartum postpartum and nursery patients
Manage and coordinate patient care across the Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
Accurately document patient care in compliance with clinical standards and patient acuity requirements
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support safe and effective labor and delivery processes
Advocate for evidence-based practices and support clinical innovation in care delivery
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Float between labor and postpartum units as operationally required
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience in Labor & Delivery or a related specialty
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Active New Jersey RN license or multi-state compact license
BLS (AHA) certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
