Job Overview
The Intelligence Targeting Analysts shall provide support and engage in the target development processin both CONUS and deployed environments in support of intelligence collection CT and or counterproliferation. Intelligence Targeting Analysts shall have in-depth analytic skills to identify assess andreport on enemy capabilities and tactics in support of target development and the production of all-sourcestrategic operational and tactical intelligence analysis.
Essential Functions
- Enable the F3EAD targeting cycle driving Intelligence collection support target development andproduction.
- Provides support to assist USSOCOM Staff in the conduct of targeting analysis and operations.
- Assist the USSOCOM Staff to identify and assist in the development of prudent COAsrecommend priorities train members of the team and employ technical knowledge for the longtermbenefit to USSOCOM operations.
- Provide all necessary specialized non-personal labor material and services necessary to performintelligence operations coordination product production data integration synchronization andprioritization of USSOCOM missions and operational objectives.
- Maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardousduty/combat zones. Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive uncertain orhostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Competencies
- Possess knowledge at the tactical and operational levels and be capable of performing all-sourceintelligence analytic support to Counterterrorism/Violent Extremist Organizations (CT/VEO)Integrated Deterrence Tactical Combat Operations (TCO) Security Impact Analysis (SIA)Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and crisis response operations and missions.
- Demonstrated level of proficiency in proven analytic techniques current analytic tools productionof high-quality comprehensive technical/non-technical intelligence products (assessmentsfinished intelligence products papers presentations)
- Proven ability to prepare and present formal or informal briefings as required and specified in thebelow qualifications.
- Superior proficiency knowledge understanding and experience with current all-source analyticaltechniques theory methodologies processes and trends.
- Demonstrate superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all-source intelligencetools.
- Demonstrate experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher.
- Advanced HVI/Network targeting methodology knowledge/understanding nodal analysis andability to fully utilize the F3EAD targeting process.
- Highly proficient in utilizing current applications and intelligence related automation to supporttarget development analytical efforts and product development.
- Excellent briefing skills and experience in directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment ofintelligence products and assessments.
Education / Certifications
- High School Diploma required.
- DOD DoS DHS or equivalent training/course completion preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years targeting experience within previous five (5) years.
- DOD DoS DHS or equivalent training/course completion preferred.
- Experience in the following analytical areas: CT Regional Analysis Geo-Political Analysis.
- Expert knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is required.
