Job Summary
Position: Business Analyst / Process Analyst
Duration: 6 months to 12 months
Location: Danville VA
Work mode: Hybrid
Location Requirement:
- Prefer VA / NC / MD / DC candidates
- Must be willing to travel onsite to Danville VA if required
Engagement Commitment:
- Available within 2 4 weeks of selection
- Willing to commit to minimum 6-month engagement
Position Overview:
TechNix is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience supporting public sector IT initiatives. The consultant will perform business process reviews operational assessments documentation and requirements gathering to support IT improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business process analysis and operational assessments
- Document current state and future state workflows
- Perform gap analysis and identify improvement opportunities
- Gather and document functional and technical requirements
- Support governance documentation efforts
- Assist in change management and stakeholder engagement activities
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Develop detailed process maps and supporting documentation
Required Qualifications:
- 8 years of Business Analysis or Process Analysis experience
- Experience working with State Local or Federal government clients
- Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills
- Experience in IT modernization or transformation projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- CBAP (Plus)
- Lean / Six Sigma (Plus)
- Experience with government compliance environments
