1. Program Planning & Deployment
- Define and implement standard operating processes (SOPs) for the merchandiser and promoter network.
- Prepare monthly deployment plans in coordination with sales trade marketing and vendor partners.
- Ensure optimal coverage beat planning and productivity mapping across pharmacy channels - IP CP & Hospitals .
- Align manpower budgets and utilization with Trade Marketing AOPs and channel priorities.
2. Performance Tracking & Analytics
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards for merchandisers and promoters (attendance productivity sales uplift visibility compliance etc.).
- Establish KPI scorecards and conduct monthly evaluations.
- Analyze regional performance to identify gaps and corrective actions for underperforming clusters.
- Collaborate with internal BI/DMS/IT teams for app-based reporting and performance tracking integration.
3. Training & Capability Building
- Work with the Training Manager to design structured training modules (product grooming sales behavior merchandising excellence).
- Ensure monthly refresher sessions and skill evaluations.
- Drive certification programs to recognize top performers and promote consistency in in-store representation.
4. Vendor & Budget Management
- Coordinate with manpower agencies and ensure vendor adherence to SLAs (attendance salary compliance).
- Oversee PO creation invoice validation and payment tracking with Finance and Admin teams.
- Monitor cost-per-head benchmarks and ensure productivity-linked ROI.
5. Trade Marketing Alignment
- Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team for campaign rollouts visibility programs and product launches.
- Ensure effective deployment of POSM and BTL activities through merchandiser and promoter teams.
- Capture feedback and field insights to optimize execution effectiveness.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Regional Sales Teams Account managers and BAMs to ensure alignment on program goals.
- Participate in monthly performance reviews and share insights on field performance and training needs.
- Manage escalations related to manpower performance deployment gaps or process deviations.
- Strong knowledge of FMCG / Pharma Retail operations.
- Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint BI dashboards and app-based reporting tools.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales & performance data.
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Strong vendor and budget management capabilities.
