Assist Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and supervise Commis Chefs.
Prepare and present food according to established recipes standards and quality requirements.
Maintain cleanliness hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen adhering to HACCP guidelines.
Control food usage to minimise waste and support cost efficiency.
Report operational issues equipment damage or ingredient shortages to the Chef de Partie.
Support banquet events and special operational requirements as needed.
Promote effective teamwork within the kitchen and across departments.
Qualifications :
- Culinary School / Vocational High School in Culinary Arts or equivalent with 12 years experience as a Commis Chef or similar role
- Proficiency in professional cooking techniques and kitchen operations including food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong teamwork and initiative
- Willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
Additional Information :
Experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English
Additional languages are a plus
