Position Summary:

The successful candidate will report functionally to the Mechanical Department Manager and on a project basis to the Project Engineering Manager. The candidate will be the discipline engineer on the assigned project and job description will include:

• Mechanical Engineer with experience in design selection and engineering of various types of Rotating Equipment for oil/gas refinery petrochemical and chemical projects. Equipment handled shall include centrifugal and positive displacement pumps process compressors-centrifugal reciprocating and screw type gas/steam turbines and various packaged equipment.

• Projects handled shall include various stages including studies brownfield upgrades Pre-FEED FEED Detail Design and vendor/construction support.

• Shall be a subject matter expert/SME with solid experience in developing engineering/ procurement documents including equipment and seal selection data sheets technical specifications material requisitions (MRs) technical bid clarifications technical bid evaluations (TBEs) purchase requisitions and vendor document reviews.
  

• Thorough knowledge of industry codes including API and ASME Code is essential.
  

• Additional equipment knowledge such as troubleshooting upgrade and modification will be preferable.
  

• Candidate should have ability to interact with internal Engineering/Design disciplines and client during the course of projects.
