Job Summary
The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering at The University of Texas Austin seeks outstanding applicants for a tenured appointment at the Associate or Full Professor rank with a start date as early asFall 2026.Candidates are sought with demonstrated excellence in research in any field of Chemical Engineering and a strong interest in teaching and mentoring students and collaborating. While the highest priority is given to the overall originality track-record and continued promise of the candidates work particular areas of interest include Materials and Energy.

Tenured applicants must hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
