Could you be the full-time Warranty and Maintenance Engineer in Cairo were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside dedicated skilled and collaborative teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our mainline signaling systems by performing warranty and maintenance daily activities (preventive and corrective) at Cairo Metro. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Operations Quality Assurance and Supply Chain) interface with clients to respond to corrective maintenance requests record all failure incidents and report on a weekly basis and manage the repair of defective system parts through Alstoms standard repair process and much more.

Youll specifically take care of managing the repair process of defective system parts but also addressing emergency failures to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Well look to you for:

  • Managing the repair process of defective system parts in accordance with Alstom standards

  • Interfacing with clients to address and resolve corrective maintenance requests

  • Recording all failure incidents and compiling comprehensive weekly reports

  • Support in punch list closure.

  • Responding promptly to emergency failures to ensure minimal disruption to operations

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve system performance

  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Bachelor degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent experience

  • Good knowledge of the English language (read written spoken)

  • Experience or understanding of PLC and software programming

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and network administration

  • Familiarity with control systems electrical circuits and technical drawings

  • A railway and signaling knowledge is a plus

  • Any additional language skills are an asset

  • Team management skills

  • Flexibility and mobility with availability for short or long missions in different locations and countries

  • Resilience and an analytical mindset to solve complex system failures

  • Customer satisfaction and results-oriented approach

  • Ability to communicate openly and clearly with various stakeholders

  • Proficiency in using new technologies and tools

  • Valid driving license
