Job Summary

As a medical laboratory technologist here at GMA a qualifying candidate will need to be able to competently and proficiently perform a variety of functions to include:

Perform quality control and clinical laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures.
Perform and document preventive maintenance troubleshooting and calibration procedures on all tests and instruments in the lab.
Answer laboratory related questions to patients MAs and physicians.

Requirements

Proficient in various clinical laboratory areas to include chemistry hematology and urinalysis.
An associates degree in clinical laboratory science or a bachelors degree in a qualifying life science.
At least one year experience in a qualifying clinical laboratory related position or a valid ASCP or AMT MLT certification.

Salary Description

$32 - $40 / hour
