Since starting in Perth in 2012 CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working down-to-earth and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.
Our Ballina office is looking to hire an Associate or Principal Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 10 years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically our team is looking for an engineer who can provide oversight of fieldwork and construction phase support as well as the design of temporary and permanent works. Youll also play a key role in training and upskilling our junior engineers and geologists.
What Youll Need
- A Civil/Geotechnical/Geological Engineering Degree
- 10 years experience in a geotechnical consultancy
- At least five years of experience working on NSW projects (with exposure to TfNSW specifications) is strongly preferred
- CPEng / RPEQ status
- Developed knowledge of geotechnical design software
- Good interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
