Job Summary
We are seeking a Research Associate to join IQVIAs laboratory business at Santa Fe NM.
In this role you will support the antibody library construction pipeline by building and performing quality control on innovative antibody libraries using advanced molecular biology techniques.

What youll be doing:
- Execute antibody library construction following approved protocols.
- Apply molecular biology methods (PCR cloning primer design sequence analysis) at high throughput while maintaining quality standards.
- Work with yeast bacteria and mammalian cells for growth transformation miniprep and RNA extraction.
- Contribute to design and execution of routine methods/assays under moderate supervision.
- Participate in technical discussions experimental design and data review.
- Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
- Support maintenance and operational standards of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and follow all applicable SOPs and safety requirements.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in Biology Chemistry or related field required.
- 12 years of related experience in method development or specific methodology area or a Masters degree.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including PCR cloning and primer design.
- Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge Skills and Abilities needed for this role:
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology and microbiology techniques (PCR cloning yeast/bacteria/mammalian cell handling).
- Ability to follow understand and write/edit SOPs; familiarity with electronic lab notebooks.
- Proficiency in data analysis calculations and Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- Effective organizational communication and time management skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
