Job Summary
We are seeking Research Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Santa Fe New Mexico.

Join a tight-knit team of four scientists where you will receive direct mentorship and hands-on training. This role is designed for an eager flexible scientist who wants to build a strong foundation in Molecular Biology. Your primary focus will be building an antibodies library through high-volume cloning and PCR workflows
What Youll Be Doing:
Library Construction: Execute DNA fragment assembly purification digestion and cloning into vectors
PCR Execution: Perform PCR protocols daily demonstrating a strong understanding of the underlying principles (not just following a recipe)
Cell Culture: Work with yeast bacteria and mammalian cells for growth transformation and RNA extraction
Process Rigor: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and protocols with precision. Monitor acceptance criteria for all assays.
Learning & Growth: Train under senior scientists to master diverse cloning methods and molecular techniques.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelors Degree in Molecular Biology Chemistry or related field with 1-2 years of hands-on academic or industry lab experience OR Masters Degree in Molecular Biology/Chemistry
Handson experience with PCR cloning and sequence analysis
Knowledge of microbiology techniques including yeast and mammalian cell culture
Familiarity with Molecular Cloning (restriction digestion ligation transformation)
Other Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

The potential base pay range for this role when annualized is $51800.00 - $108000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered incentive plans bonuses and/or other forms of compensation may be offered in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Required Experience:
