A rapidly growing CFTC-regulated financial exchange is seeking a Market Operations Associate to support real-time trading and clearing operations. This organization operates at the forefront of event-driven and derivatives-based markets providing institutional-grade trading clearing and data services.

About the Role

The Market Operations Associate provides real-time support to market participants and internal stakeholders helping maintain a fair and orderly market while monitoring system stability. This role works closely with engineers product teams compliance and senior leadership to resolve mission-critical operational and technical issues.

This position is ideal for individuals early in their careers who are highly adaptable detail-oriented and eager to develop deep expertise in trading systems and market structure.

What Youll Do

Develop subject matter expertise in trading systems order types and connectivity interfaces
Provide technical and operational support to institutional trading participants and clearing counterparties
Monitor trading system integrity and maintain operational control of the live environment
Escalate and coordinate resolution of critical system issues with engineering teams
Maintain listed contracts including product specifications trading parameters and settlement terms
Execute and refine operational procedures
Build and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology Product Sales QA Compliance and Regulatory teams

What Youll Bring

Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
2 years in trade support exchange operations middle office compliance or systems engineering within a trading environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly learn technical concepts (e.g. Python or SQL basics)
Flexibility to support an event-driven schedule including on-call responsibilities

Preferred

Exposure to electronic trading exchange environments brokerage operations or U.S. futures markets
Basic Python scripting experience
SQL or data analysis experience
Familiarity with workflow automation tools
