Job Summary

PPG has an exciting opportunity available for an Aerospace Customer Service Representative - Exports position. The Aerospace Business Specialist supports corporate and Aerospace goals and ensures follow-up and support for customers is a priority for the Team. You will report to the Aerospace Business Specialist Supervisor for exports.

This position will work a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Candidates can be based out of Los Angeles Dallas Philadelphia or Seattle.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the entry of all internal international purchase orders and Transparencies purchase orders.
Follow-up and support to internal customers ensuring their requirements are being met.
Ensuring you are working toward good relationships with your counterparts in Shipping/Planning/Logistics/Quality. Etc. and responses are being made promptly to all requests to minimize delays in processing orders or the customer receiving their materials.
Obtaining late order information and notifying customers of any delays with their orders.
Must keep appropriate stakeholders abreast of the problems/solutions pertaining to the customer and achievement of KPIs.
Collaboration that will develop new business processes or to correct/update old processes.
Work with the appropriate stakeholders to conceive and develop solutions to complex administrative problems using professionally accepted techniques practices and/or procedures.
Responsible for complying with PPGs export compliance procedures.
Responsible for adhering to the export teams processes and regulations.
Managing a wide range of accounts with individual requirements and expectations.

Qualifications

Only U.S. Citizens Green Card holders and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.
HS Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors Degree preferred.
3 years of Customer Service or Exports experience.
Can work well with international organizations.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles preferred or be willing to attend training.
Salary range for this position is $52000 - $60000
