Job Summary
Job Description:
Contribute in requirements elicitation creation of application architecture document and creation of design artifacts; deliver high quality codes support activities related to implementation and transition; interface with internal team and key stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues to ensure high quality deliverables at each stage of SDLC within the guidelines policies and norms of Infosys.
Skills Required:
- Application design development and implementation on Progress/Open Edge applications
- PROGRESS 4GL
- PROGRESS AppServer
- PROGRESS Database design and performance
- Experience in UNIX
- Experience in leading technical projects and Development team
- Experience in working with geographically diverse team and coordinating with developers at diverse locations
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical background and willing to learn new tools and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelors or masters degree in engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
At least 10years of experience in the job description below.
Preferred
Domain knowledge in Insurance specifically in Life insurance and Annuities
Prior experience with customizing Policy Administration System (PAS)
Customer facing
