Join our GL EMEA team as a Financial Controller and be part of a team that ensures high-quality financial processes!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combiningstrong financial fundamentalswithproject exposure collaboration and continuous improvement in a fast-moving international environment.

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will support high-quality general ledger and financial controlling processes while contributing to strategic initiatives linked to business expansion and change. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in GL and Controlling project contributing ideas supporting implementation and gaining exposure to transformation initiatives
  • Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across geographies to support smooth operations and strong partnerships
  • Supporting monthly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring accuracy clear explanations and timely follow-up on open items
  • Assisting with internal and external reporting including audit support and documentation
  • Preparing and reviewing journal entries ensuring completeness correct coding and compliance with local accounting standards
  • Performing variance analysis on account movements to support accurate and transparent financial reporting

This is a temporary 18-month position created as part of a strategic GL expansion project. The role is based in Prague Jinonice (relocation assistance is not provided).

About the Team

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center delivering HR and Finance services across the LEGO Group from Monterrey Prague and Singapore. The GL department plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and reliable financial processes and fostering collaboration across the organization.

Do you have what it takes

  • Experience in General Ledger or Financial Controlling.
  • Exposure to international accounting environments is a plus.
  • Experience supporting projects in a dynamic setting.
  • Good communication and partner management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems preferably SAP.
  • Analytical detail-oriented and quality-focused.
  • Proactive curious and a team player who enjoys supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals.
