You will be implementing Copilot AI Agents within the organisation to improve business productivity and will also support the transformation of customer experience for those communicating with the organisation.

Your role and responsibilities

You will be creating Copilot AI Agents for the enterprise to improve business and personal productivity. You will be able to immerse yourself in this relatively new and ever-changing technology and support individuals within teams and directorates across the organisation to be self-sufficient in building their own agents safely.

  • Alongside the Product Owner you will be able to help form the strategy and pipeline for implementation of Copilot AI Agents.
  • Youll build AI Agents within ITIL best practice whilst also having awareness of information governance requirements and other guidelines.
  • Your ability to digest complex requirements and create innovative solutions will be ideal to transform processes making recommendations as to design and technology suitability.
  • Youll collaborate with key individuals who are building their own agents keeping them abreast of the regular functionality changes provided by Microsoft and the implications on best practice.
  • Support the governance that will include the monitoring of Agent usage and gateway processes for promotion of Agents through environments.

You will need

  • Your proven skill in IT solution development to build robust enterprise agents used throughout Suffolk County Council.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies. The role will come with training but you will need to take personal responsibility to undergo some of the training and also make recommendations to your team and colleagues.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills to liaise and collaborate with your customers as well as those Agent developers within directorates. This could be through multiple methods including demos and documentation.
  • Experience and appreciation of managing projects or pieces of work involving multiple disciplinary skills.

The team

The IT Service as part of the Corporate Services directorate supports colleagues across the organisation to get the most from their technology provision.

The Copilot Centre of Excellence will be based within the Corporate Services Product Team where it will be ideally placed to work alongside the Automation Centre of Excellence to influence and transform internal business productivity as well as developing external solutions for Customer experience.

The team is dedicated agile and implements solutions across the organisation many of which are accessible and used by all employees. This uniquely allows individuals within the team to have a wide influence and obvious impact on the way the organisation works.
