Your part in our Buderim Hospital team
We are looking for a Clinical Psychologistwith a strong focusonEating Disordersto join our multi-disciplinary team atCooindaMental Health Service.Our Service consists of four units includingCooindaPsychiatry ClinicCooindaPsychology ClinicCooindaInpatient Unit andCooindaDay Program Unit.
Key duties in the hospital (Inpatient Unit and Day Program Unit)
Psychometric assessments
Provision of individual psychological treatment
Facilitating group therapyand 1:1 therapy for eating disorder patients
Facilitate the Eating DisordersDay Program
Working under an Eating Disorders Psychiatrist with regular communication with Psychiatrists Nurses and other Allied Health Professionals
Attending Multidisciplinary Team Meetingsandparticipatein team reviews for eating disorder patients
Provide Staff upskilling on eating disorders

Psychometric assessments
Individual psychological treatment
Regular written communication with referrers including Psychiatrists and GPs
What makes a difference for us
Full unconditional registration with AHPRA
Experience andexpertiseinEating Disorders
Formal qualifications in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate Degree) or working towards
Formal training in evidence-based psychological therapies including CBT TF-CBT DBT
Conducting psychometric assessments
Providing individual evidence-based psychological therapy
Facilitating group therapy
Experience in treating moderate to severe psychiatric disorders
Excellent written and oral communication skills and record keeping skills
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
