Job Summary

We are expanding our team in Penrith and would love to welcome a passionate and dedicated independent Registered Psychologist Contractor to join us in making a positive impact in our community. 

We are looking for Registered Psychologists in Penrith or surrounding suburbs with experience working with NDIS participants.

In this role you will:

  • Managing a caseload of NDIS Participants across the lifespan and from varying socio-cultural backgrounds and completing therapeutic processes in a timely manner.
  • Undertaking comprehensive clinical interviews and assessments and interpreting findings to collaboratively determine and achieve goals that align with NDIS Plan goals.
  • Delivering person-centred tailored interventions with a systemic focus that also includes delivery of therapeutic support and training to stakeholders.
  • Monitoring interpreting reporting and addressing signs and symptoms of risk and acute distress that may arise during any therapeutic interventions.
  • Providing written reports to NDIS outlining progress reviews and ongoing areas of need.
  • Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Current general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience working with NDIS participants.
  • Excellent time management communication and writing skills.
  • Relevant insurance including Public Liability Professional Indemnity and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
  • Police clearance Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Active ABN.
