Job Summary

As an Automation Architect you play a pivotal role in this transformation. You are not only defining how automation supports our business today but also designing the foundation for how Fixed Networks will operate in the future. You connect strategy with execution transforming ambitious goals into scalable intelligent and future-proof automation solutions.

You are someone who:

  • Sees the bigger picture and has the courage to challenge the status quo.
  • Gathers input from within and outside the department. Delivers professional/strategic solutions and together with the Director stimulates and manages decision-making and implementation of the innovation.
  • Translates strategic ambitions into tangible sustainable technical roadmaps to boost automation and organization of Data quality.
  • Visualizes progress and reports on professional results/projects for management purposes. Provides management information and strategic advice.
  • Brings together multiple teams and stakeholders to create alignment and consistency in automation efforts across the organization.
  • Combines deep technical expertise with visionary thinking to build scalable frameworks that shape how automation will evolve.
  • Support all DevOps teams to gain expertise and by co-development to take ownership on automations.
  • Balances long-term architectural direction with short-term tactical delivery to ensure impact from day one.

Qualifications :

We are looking for a visionary Automation Architect who combines strategic foresight with strong technical craftsmanship. You can navigate complex environments bridge business and technology and drive alignment across domains.

You have:

  • A strong background in systems architecture IT design or network engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of automation frameworks (CI/CD orchestration network automation etc.).
  • Proven experience defining standards and governance for scalable automation solutions.
  • The ability to design and orchestrate an automation roadmap across teams and technologies.
  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills you build alignment and inspire collaboration.
  • Experience co-developing domain-specific automation enablers that accelerate delivery.
  • The ability to translate complex challenges into clear actionable blueprints for others to implement.

Additional Information :

Naturally as an employer we also have a lot to offer you. This is what you can expect from us:

  • A gross monthly salary of at least 6576 and up to 10389 depending on your work experience based on a 40-hour workweek.
  • A thirteenth months salary and 8% holiday allowance.
  • Annual individual and collective salary increases in accordance with our collective labour agreement (CAO).

  • Excellent pension benefits: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary of which KPN contributes 16% and you contribute 7%.
