Job Summary
- Define and design end-to-end solution architecture for backend services APIs and data flows.
- Architect and implement scalable microservices-based systems using Java and Azure cloud.
- Develop high-level and low-level design documents including architecture diagrams and data models.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and cloud governance frameworks.
- Guide development teams to ensure consistent implementation of architectural principles.
- Conduct architecture reviews design reviews and code quality assessments.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Java microservices and Azure-based backend technologies.
- Collaborate with product owners business analysts and security stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Design and enforce API standards security protocols (OAuth2 JWT mTLS) and best practices.
- Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka or Azure Event Hub.
- Ensure solutions meet security compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g. financial domain standards).
- Incorporate monitoring logging observability and resilience patterns into system design.
- Break down complex requirements into clear actionable technical deliverables.
- Drive scalability performance optimization and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
- Advanced expertise in Java (17) and enterprise backend development.
- Strong experience designing microservices and cloud-native architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and DevOps pipelines.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
- Experience implementing API security (OAuth2 JWT mTLS).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka / Azure Event Hub).
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts such as load balancing caching and fault tolerance.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines automated testing and Git-based workflows.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks (DDD C4 model TOGAF).
- Understanding of compliance and security standards in financial environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
