Serves as the Training and Technical Assistance Manager. Organizes directs and evaluates the Offices training and technical assistance strategy and activities in support of Home Illinois vision. Designs and travels to deliver workshops seminars and training sessions for partners such as Continuum of Care lead agency staff homeless service providers and supportive housing providers with a majority in Cook County. Develops and maintains strong understanding of industry best practices and/or concepts including the Built for Zero methodology Quality Data Coordinated Entry Collective Impact model and By-Name-Lists harm reduction low barrier and trauma-informed services among other concepts. Serves as full-line supervisor. The Office to Prevent and End Homelessness (OPEH) is a statewide office which works across State agencies and is housed within DHS. OPEHs mission is to coordinate State of Illinois agency strategies and investments and to partner with the community to build a strong safety net and permanent housing for Illinoisans facing homelessness and housing insecurity.
