About Jumeirah Muscat Bay

Set in the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah nestled between the Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman Jumeirah Muscat Bay invites guests to discover Muscats breathtaking nature with mountains meeting the sea at the resorts doorstep. About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Lifeguard - Recreation to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

• Monitor swimming areas caution guests in unsafe zones rescue when required and provide first aid.

• Enforce pool rules manage guest behavior and ensure a safe enjoyable environment.

• Maintain pool cleanliness inspect facilities and coordinate with Engineering for repairs.

• Operate rides and attractions safely and ensure all lifesaving equipment is functional.

• Support events by providing lifeguard services and assisting with facility preparations.

• Communicate with colleagues and management effectively attend regular safety trainings and follow departmental grooming and HSE standards at all times.

About you
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent with a valid Regional/International Lifeguard License (Ellis & Associates or equivalent) and Shallow Water Certification.

• 12 years of experience as a Lifeguard preferably within an international luxury hospitality environment.

• Proficiency in First Aid and CPR with the ability to respond calmly and confidently during emergencies. Strong customer service focus with clear communication skills excellent observational ability and a high level of concentration.

• Demonstrated physical fitness and stamina including the ability to work outdoors for long hours maintain professional conduct and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
