Your Role
As part of the team you will:
- Carry out and supervise infrastructure design;
- Perform structural modeling;
- Conduct calculations and checks necessary for sound design;
- Prepare plans and specifications for design projects;
- Estimate quantities for design projects prepare price schedules and estimate project costs;
- Review drawings and plans to ensure accuracy against specifications;
- Participate in support stages during the bidding period and in office-based supervision of civil engineering work;
- Act as a project manager on certain projects;
- Act as a specialist designer on certain projects;
- Comply with rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety and environmental protection as well as incident addition in a continuous improvement mindset be proactive in improving health safety and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.
About You
- Hold a degree in civil engineering or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
- Good knowledge of specialized software;
- Ability to manage civil engineering projects;
- Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
