Food runner

At Hellas our Table Runners are a key part of the first impression and flow of the guest experience. This role supports the host stand and dining room by creating a welcoming organized and guest ready environment from the moment guests arrive. The Table Runners assist with seating flow table readiness and communication across the floor to ensure every guest is guided smoothly and confidently to their table. Success in this position comes from attention to detail a sense of urgency balanced with hospitality strong teamwork and a commitment to keeping the entrance and dining room polished professional and inviting at all times.

What You Will Do:

• Greet all guests warmly confidently and professionally as they arrive.
• Support the Host by monitoring table readiness and assisting with seating flow using SevenRooms.
• Answer phone calls as needed and assist with basic guest inquiries or transfers with professionalism.
• Ensure the host stand entrance and lobby are clean orderly and welcoming.
• Keep menus silverware and front-of-house supplies stocked and ready.
• Assist with Front-of-House support through bussing and table setups.
• Resolve concerns with confidence empathy and a team-first mindset.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Familiarity with seating software such as SevenRooms or similar preferred.
• Strong verbal organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask under pressure with a positive and professional attitude.
• Previous experience in cash and credit card handling preferred.
• Must obtain Food Safety Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Calm under pressure clear under stress and never forget the guest in front of you.
• Professional appearance and pride in presence.
