What you will do:
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team in the design integration and construction support of major liquids pipeline facilities ensuring technical excellence and alignment with corporate standards.
Provide subject matter expertise and technical guidance on facility design equipment integration and construction standards for pump stations piping systems valves and electrical systems.
Oversee the development and approval of engineering deliverables reports and recommendations ensuring adherence to project objectives schedules and budgets.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Project Managers Engineering SMEs Construction Supply Chain and Operations.
Support the resolution of technical issues during design procurement and construction phases making independent decisions on engineering methods and risk management.
Mentor and develop engineering staff fostering a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.
Who you are:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent). P Eng with APEGA.
Minimum 7 years of experience in liquids pipeline engineering with a focus on pump stations and system integration.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex technical projects.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (example CSA Z662 API).
Technical experience in liquids pipeline systems including pump station design and construction. Piping and valve design standards for station and terminal facilities. Electrical systems: transformers EMDs and VFDs.
Role requires a valid drivers license which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Valid passport to travel and work in the US and Canada.
Working Conditions:
Office based standard hours with occasional extended hours during peak project phases.
Occasional travel to project sites as required (approximately 25%).
