Ira Ford Saco is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department operations. This role oversees daily workflow team performance warranty processes and customer satisfaction while driving efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate has dealership service leadership experience and a hands-on management style.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily service department operations scheduling and workflow
Lead train and support service advisors and technicians
Oversee warranty administration to ensure compliance and maximize recovery
Supervise mobile service operations and off-site service performance
Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain high CSI scores
Monitor KPIs labor efficiency expenses and department profitability
Coordinate with Parts Sales and Body Shop departments
Ensure compliance with manufacturer safety and dealership standards
Qualifications
Previous Service Manager or senior service leadership experience required
Automotive dealership experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
Working knowledge of dealership DMS systems (CDK Reynolds & Reynolds AutoMate Xtime preferred)
Understanding of service operations diagnostics and warranty processes
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
