What Youll Do as an Public Safety Intelligence Analyst
Develop proper research tools methods & intelligence request forms to appropriately accommodate intelligence information;
Identify & analyze informational databases spreadsheets & reports allowing information to be easily exchanged & understood;
Prepare intelligence reports products & briefings for presentation to all public safety partners;
Coordinate interstate & intrastate information;
Provide operational guidance to partners;
Maintain association with & facilitates exchange of information between federal state & local law enforcement agencies & taskforces for disposition of criminal activity &/or intelligence information on criminal activity (e.g. narcotic trafficking illegal dark web activity);

Providing investigative support through the extraction and analysis of electronic devices criminal case support trend analysis cryptocurrency tracing and dark web investigations.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT: If required must obtain LEADS certification; must renew LEADS certification biannually. Background Check Information
A BCI and FBI fingerprint check a background check including a polygraph examination may be required on all selected applicants.
