About the role
We are seeking aCompounding Pharmacy Technician with hands-on compounding experienceto support a growing pharmacy operation. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who takes pride in precision cleanliness and consistency and who thrives in a structured quality-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparenon-sterile and/or sterile compounded medicationsunder pharmacist supervision
- Accurately weigh measure mix and label compounds according to SOPs
- Maintain a clean compliant compounding environment
- Follow USP <795> <797> and <800> guidelines and safety procedures
- Complete batch records and compounding documentation
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation
- Support quality assurance processes and internal audits
RequirementsRequired
- Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT or state equivalent)
- 2 years of hands-on compounding experience
- Familiarity with USP <795> (and <797>/<800> if applicable)
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
Preferred
- Experience in high-volume compounding pharmacies
- Sterile compounding experience
- Experience working with hormone dermatologic or specialty compounds
