This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Project Controls team working as a Document Controller on some of the UKs largest Transportation National Highways Nuclear Defence and Infrastructure projects. You will be part of an experienced team that have a significant impact on the successful delivery of these multi-million-pound contracts using state of the art Project Controls tools and techniques that provide concise information to the projects they support in the UK and overseas.
Your Role
- Establish and maintain document control systems and procedures.
- Receive log track and distribute incoming and outgoing documents.
- Ensure documents are filed and archived according to company standards.
- Maintain version control and ensure only current versions are in circulation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Monitor document workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare reports on document status and compliance.
- Train staff on document control procedures and systems.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive documents.
- Support audits and inspections by providing required documentation.
- Perform administrative function on EDMS systems by assigning user roles and permissions.
About you
- Proven experience in document control or records management.
- Good working knowledge of EDMS - Bentley ProjectWise ALIM Web AssetWise Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Asite Business Collaborator Teamcenter etc.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet target deadlines.
- Knowledge of ISO standards related to document control.

Security clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
