PSS as service provider for payments and settlement services

INGs Payment and Settlement Services (PSS) is a professional services provider in payments settlements and open banking. PSS is building a global payments platform to consolidate all of INGs payments volumes resulting in cost-efficiency for ING and a more strengthened and centralised control environment for payments. PSS is an independent unit within INGs COO domain reporting directly into INGs is a Business Services oriented organization. To deliver on our ambitious roadmap we have organized ourselves into a strong strategic and commercially focused organization around our services.

In the area of SEPA we are looking for a Product Lead SEPA Direct Debits to further improve/mature our service offering and deliver on our ambitious roadmap

Your responsibilities

• Take full ownership for the product and are responsible for the product vision & strategy to create business value and deliver a differentiating customer experience.
• Manage the products life cycle with the ultimate goal to increase customer impact.
• Perform analyses to stay on top of market trends to ensure the products competitive position.
• Define the roadmap of the product and maximize business value through prioritization of the product backlog under consideration of relevant stakeholder needs.
• Responsible for product performance including reporting to and reviews with consuming parties/entities.
• Responsible for the creation of annual financial plans and managing your product & teams within budget.
• Manage teams that work on the product by providing them with strategic direction and by coaching them on the job.
• The hierarchical manager of the business people in the teams and its your job to empower them to thrive and perform at their best. You set direction you help them to develop their craftsmanship and you have continuous conversations about their career development.

Furthermore you have:/bring

• Current residency in the Netherlands
• Preferable a Masters degree
• 5 years experience on a senior position in the SEPA domain preferable SEPA Direct Debits
• Relevant working experience working together with Product Operations and Development teams
• You have sound experience in product/service management and development. Challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to complex problems.
• Experienced in building and executing strategic roadmaps as well as delivering strategic projects with high impact in accordance with agreed timelines. You look ahead have a strategic mindset and find opportunities which you translate into concrete strategies.
• Organisational savvy manoeuvre easily through complex policies processes and organisational dynamics across ING.
• Customer focus build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Proven track record in driving and steering multidisciplinary teams. You drive engagement and create an environment in which people are motivated to perform at their best to help ING achieve its goals.
