Within the local Human Resourcesorganization (5 employees) this role aims at creating the best Employee Experience as well as to achieve operational excellence of HR processes with a continuous focus on (cost) effectiveness quality efficiency speed and alignment with ING Group target model for service delivery.
Reporting hierarchically to the local Head of Human Resources you work closely with Global People ServicesHR Centers of Expertise HR Business Partners HR Payroll & Benefits Expert external suppliers andCentralisedPeople Services in ING Hubs.
Your duties as Employee Journey & Operational Excellence Expert IV
You will combine Employee Experience with Operational Excellence work and project management. While managing employee life-cycle events on a daily basis you will have a focus onprojectandchangeleadership.
Yourroleandresponsibilities
Employee Life-cycle events
- Manage life-cycle events (hire changes separations) with managers and employees;
- Ensure timely and accurate update of Workday as well as HR files;
- Handle queries of employees and managers for complex queries together with Centralised People Services;
- Inform all staff through diverse communication channels in coordination with Communication Expert ensuring all information is available to employees as part of self-service model;
- Responsible to maintain and update policies and procedures in the Employee Journey domain;
- Responsible for storage archiving and deletion processes for the HR department;
Operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Identifyanalyseandoptimiseoperationalprocessestomaximise efficiency & quality
- As a member of the COO People Services global ING community understand the Group strategy and projects portfolio and represent Switzerland in global calls
Change & Project management
- Contribute to developing change plans and coordinate related change projects towards an outsourced HR People Services model;
- Collaborate with other team members to address interdependencies whenever changes require joint efforts..
- Maintain a strong end-to-end perspective and effectively manage complexity.
- Leverage new technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency both for internal processes and for processes outsourced to external providers (payroll benefits insurances...)
- Foster a culture where change is embraced and supported.
Data Systems & Reporting
- Prepare various dashboards for the Group and/or the local Management
- Act as Person of contact for the Global HR Data Maintenance team (Workday)
- Perform complex HR data processing tasks provide advise to colleagues when needed and use your expertise to improve data collection tools and administrative processes.
- Ensure ING standards on data quality are met within HR local team
- Implement new legal requirements in Workday on all the modules.
- Raise issues and submit change request for Workday configuration when necessary.
- Ensure Compliance with Data protection laws and their proper implementation across HR processes
Risk Management & Control
- Take ownership of risk management within your area of expertise
- Monitor Key Risk indicators
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting (CSRD)
- Timely report incidents and perform lessons learned analysis to update procedures & policies
Back up Payroll and HR Controlling
- Act as back up for the Payroll & Benefits Expert colleague in case of absence

- You have experience in leading and coordinating change projects
- You have strong data analytics skills
- Youare able toperform analyses and find the right underlying causes and determine solutions
- You havestrong communicationskills in English
- You work in full autonomy with a sense of initiative and a hands on attitude
- You demonstrate Organization & Planning skills
- You are building strong relationships with stakeholders at Group levels.
- You Ensure continuous communication and stakeholder engagement throughoutthechangeprocesswith a focus onclear understanding of challenges and opportunities.
- You are keen on risks and actively contribute to the Risk/Compliance culture in the department.
Your profile
- Bachelor/Master degree from University with minimum 3 years of work experience
- You have a good knowledge of HR administrative processes and/or HR controlling processes
- Prior experience with Workday tool is a plus
- Languages: English fluent both verbal and in writing; French is a plus
- You are keen on risks and actively contribute to the Risk/Compliance culture in the department.
