Responsibilities
Provides direct patient care and supportive services to patients with mental health disorders as well as chemically dependent patients to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients. Carries out a variety of patient care activities which support the maintenance of the therapeutic milieu and which meet the patients needs for comfort and safety. May also perform the duties and responsibilities of an Emergency Department Technician.
Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work Psychology Counseling or other behavioral health related fields with one (1) year of experience in the behavioral health field setting OR three (3) years of experience in inpatient psychiatric settings.
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
