Duties:Data and Digital Literacy: Leverages data analysis tools to explore moderately complex data develops and tests hypotheses uses data to influence strategic work and builds and presents insights.Identifies implements and drives technology change withinscopeof work.Usesvisualization tools torepresentdata and construct coherent stories to influence decisions. Influential Communication: Organizes thoughts and communicates credibly and concisely in an interdivisional/interdepartmental setup. Independently assembles and prepares reports materials and storylines that have a structure and logical flow and are based on relevant fact-based information. Process Flow Design: Interprets information to quantify theanticipatedoutcome of supply chain decisions. Describes the typical tasks associated with using and managing suppliers. Understands issues and considerations for inbound and outboundlogistics. Describes basic logistical processes and subprocesses.Usesa variety of business process design tools and techniques. Examines interprets and explains workflow materials and documentation. Analyzes a process and associated business logic and offers recommendations based on analysis. Carries out business process design tasks with some supervision and coaching.Documentscommon obstacles and barriers for effective implementation. Automation System Design:Identifiesthe areas for usage of automationmachineries. Assesses tasks for automation potential. Obtains information about alternative automation solutions.Assistswith analyzing space and cost requirements associated with machinery usage.Identifiesissues and provides resolutions to problems related to automationmachineries. Automation Integration:Identifiescommon issues and considerations for bringing a new automation design to a facility. Works with teams to measure and manage project performance. Documentsimplementationplans and estimates for projects. Documents project implementation meetings particularly status reports on next steps. Participates in the development of technology interfaces and bridges. Works with existing interfaces and integration and migration plans within assignedarea. Prepares integration tests. Measures and compares results with established test criteria. Mechatronics: Updates existing CAD drawings based on requirements. Describes common drafting conventions tools procedures and processes.Identifiesbasic functions and features of a design and visualization system. Navigates andtroubleshootscontrol systems.Identifieselectrical design concepts and techniques used in supply chains. Cites examples of usage or application of electrical design in automating supply chain processes. Demonstrates knowledge of wiring schematics ensuring they meet requirements and are compliant. Describes common mechanical components of Distribution Center and Fulfillment Center equipment.Namesbasic tools or technologies used in mechanical engineering. Operational Excellence: Assesses situations based on awareness of the goals and operating issues ofowndepartment. Seeks guidance when assigned goals conflict with departmental goals or the overall strategy.Documentsregulatory and reporting requirements. Resolves obstacles related to goals of own department. Understands the importanceof andimplementation of One Best Way and Standard Operating Procedure information.Identifiessafety hazards and anomalies during the operations processes and reports tosupervisor. Partnership and Collaboration: Buildsmaintains and enhances effective internal and external partnerships.

Minimum education and experience:Bachelors degree or the equivalent in Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience in engineering supply chain or related experience OR 6 years of experience in engineering supply chain or related.

Skills required:Must have experience with: developing dashboards and metrics for KPI monitoring using Power BI Tableau and Microsoft office; business and Data Analysis using statistical tools like SQL Microsoft office Spotfire MS Access or SAS; root Cause Analysis using Six Sigma; supply chain from end to end; project management using project methods and tools like MS Project Agile Waterfall or Jira; Process improvement in order to reduce pricing issues improve customer satisfaction develop metrics to track performance and inventory optimization; Working with Cross functional teams; Working with stakeholders to identify requirements and translate needs to IT teams to develop solutions; Identifying supply chain business requirements and converting them into actionable items; Improving efficiency and cost effectiveness by reducing backorders excess inventory optimization and monitoring excess purchase orders to the suppliers; and Developing Business Optimization models.Employerwill accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
